Lately, I have been a very lucky girl! No, not because our football team has been wining! And not because I have won the lottery. Nope, its something not everyone would understand................
I have been lucky because I have found out that St. Louis is a great place to find vintage treasures!!
Yes, the secret is out.........I've been antiquing! But, hold on........ Don't get all worked up thinking that I have been buying more stuff! Nope, I have just been doing some exploring around St. Louis and checking out a view antique shops. Just browsing.......which can lead to buying; because, when you least expect it you find that special treasure!!!
I definitely wasn't on the hunt for these; but, I stumbled on these vintage ornaments & oh what a great surprise!
Yes, the price for vintage ornaments here in Missouri is about half of what I have normally paid in Florida, Arizona, & Washington. And wait, it gets even better.......there appears to be a plentiful supply!!! In the past I have really had a difficult time finding ornaments and even had to resort to Ebay. But, not this year........these ornaments have been waiting for me.
So, I am just over the moon with these finds to add to my collection!
So after I find enough to decorate a 12 foot Christmas Tree........I hope to have enough to make a vintage holiday wreath like this:
Now, I just have to find a few smaller ornaments to fill in the wreath. So, I think more ornaments are in my near future!
I might just have to make a trip to St Louis when I am in KC next week! You found some great treasures! See you soon!
