Whenever I get into one of my "I need a vacation moods" I look out into my own backyard and realize how blessed I am. Every morning, my dogs- Jazzi and Zoei cannot wait to get downstairs so I can open the patio doors- their gateway to the sun. They love to go outside and sunbathe on the pool deck. My favorite morning ritual is having my coffee while listening to the sounds of my pool's waterfall. As I look around I am always reminded of the beauty in front of me-I think to myself.....PARADISE FOUND. This is from someone who still considers herself a mid-western girl, who didn't want to change her license plates from Minnesota, and didn't want to have a Florida cell phone number. Well, all those changes have happened and I guess I have accepted that I live in the South. Last week-I finally parted with the remainder of my beloved sweater collection and anything heavier than a cotton tee-shirt. My life has changed and reality has set in-but; I have found paradise even if it is only in my own backyard.
Some men see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not.
