This is my treat for today-even if I didn't get it until 6:30 this evening! Boy, it was delicious!!!! Starbucks Vanilla Latte-yum yum.....Lot's going on today-first doctor's appointment for my wonderful low iron count. Doc says mine is at a 9 and if it drops to 8 or less-were talking transfusion. Not! I don't plan on that happening. I will dutifully take my iron pills and swear away mother nature.
I finally got my new scanner today. The larger format printer is next. I want to try my hand at digital scrapbooking. Hopefully, my scanner will get set up when the teenager gets back from social hour with her friends. She is so glad to be back for the weekend and sleeping in her own bed.
Our visit to campus yesterday was marred by rain-major thunderstorm and down pour! We did get to visit with the Head Football Coach and tour their football facilities. UCF has a beautiful campus with lots of new construction going on. It definitely is a small world. His offensive coordinator- was coached by Charlie in college when Charlie worked for his dad. He also named his daughter after a good friend of mine (Teri L.) youngest daugther Kylan.
It is raining again here. The only ones who don't seem to mind are these guys:
They play, play, play rain or shine. And they have a million toys all over the house. But, can you blame them?!?! They like fun just like anyone else.
I hope to spend the weekend getting motivated to scrapbook and finish decorating several areas of my house. I hope I can get my dad to paint my coffee table in my bedroom/sitting room. I need to have a few pictures hung(great shadow boxes from Anthropologie)and finish accessorizing the space. I think I got a little burned out with all the decorating over the last year. I will post some of my picture soon.
