It has been a busy week at our house. We have had lots of family in town this week. My cousins from Houston- are here for a family reunion. Last night they came to dinner and we had a great time. My dad enjoyed seeing everyone-and I hadn't seen them in over 3 years!!!! We cooked out on the grill despite the rain and the kids enjoyed playing with the doggies.
Three hours of doggie play time!!! This was great because the kids really tired them out. I think our dogs get bored with us because we are not as much fun.
My cousin's wife has started a home decor business in a small Houston mall. Kinda gave me the itch again to get back in the business. Of course, Charlie says "NO." But, I have to admit the part I enjoyed most was selecting the merchandise-not minding the store. So, I guess for now I will have to dream at bit.
My days of junking are over?!?! Especially, since one of Charlie's former players came to the house today to detail my truck-since it was so trashed from all my JUNKING!!!!!! We couldn't turn my car back into the dealer in the shape it was in. I promise to do much better with my new ride.
Fourth of July was also fun with Charlie's side of the family. His cousin moving here from North Carolina and they were able to take part in the festivities. It has been so hot here that we weren't able to start our cookout until after 4:00 p.m. I also had the opportunity to meet his cousin's that were visiting from Phoenix.
With all the people visiting this area it is hard to get lonely in South Florida!

Last night my wonderful husband cleaned up our entire kitchen after I had gone to bed. HOW ABOUT THAT! WONDERS NEVER CEASE!!!
